He paints urban landscapes, nature and portraits on paper, wood and large-format canvas in mixed oil-and-acrylic technique, and makes etchings. Born in Milan in 1959, where he lives and works; graduate in Architecture (Politecnico di Milano); teaches Visual Arts at IED, Istituto Europeo di Design, Milan. First group show in 1985 (Galleria 9 Colonne, Bologna); editorial illustrator for the weekly Panorama 1987–1992; devoted exclusively to painting since 1997.
